The beach and dunes

Bordered on both sides by dunes, Hardelot beach (1 200 metres) opens up a beautif panorama. The fine light sand is a delight to both children and adults : fishing for shrimps, building sandcastles, running or jogging, thes is something for everyone.

Nothing can impair the view of the immense shoneline and the pure sea air is invigorating at any time of year.

The area of protected dunes in the communes of Ecault and Dannes, which (?) the Northern and Southern (?) respectively of Hardelot, is accessible from the beach. These dunes, the most important in the Côte d'Opale, affond numerous walks of exeptional interest. Some dunes rise to a height of 90 metres above sea level and offer magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
