What is a Station Kid ?

Created in 1992 on the initiative of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Regional Tourism Committee the category "Station Kid" (?) those French tourist destinations which are specifically oriented towards children and the family.

8 criteria have to be respected :

- Welcome reception at the Tourist Office,

- List of activities,

-List of organized events,

-safety,

-The environment,

-Accomodation,

-Restaurants,

-Facilities.

Hardelot is one of the 32 recongnized "Station Kid" in France.

As such, it provides a wide range of events, festivities and competitives as will as special menus in restaurants and particular attention to youngers and children.
